Oaklands has 4 pools set in the Shropshire Hills
Our Leisure Pool is two acres, it is well stocked with mirror and common carp up to 20lbs and a few sturgeon perfect for both experienced anglers and kids just starting out. With most of our fish never been caught they put up a great fight.

Our Match Pool is very well stocked catches of over 150lbs are not uncommon.With a mixed bag of carp upto 10lbs+, silvers, tench, bream, and a couple of sturgeon which come out quite regularly.

Our Specimen Pool is an acre and is stocked with 20 mirrors and common ranging from 12lbs to +20lb and a couple of sturgeon.

We have a 3/4 acre kids and novices pool, very well stocked with 100's of commons mirrors and a few trout, if you catch one and want it for the barbie it's £10 (almost bound to catch)!!! This pool is a good spot for beginners and juniors; tuition is available on site subject to availability and if booked in advance.

Ideal for families Sheperds huts and camping / dogs and camp fires allowed.

Leisure Pool

Carp Fishing / Coarse Fishing

A two-acre pool, well stocked with mirror and common carp up to 20lbs and a few sturgeon. 20 pegs available, ideal for families who want to relax camping or fishing.

Fishing £10 a day per person. £25 for 24hrs per person. Camping £20 pitch under 5s free 5-16s £5 (max 4 per tent) over 18s £10 per person

Match Pool

Coarse Fishing

A very well stocked match pool, catches of over 150lb are not uncommon. With a mixed bag of carp upto 10lb+, silvers, tench, bream, and a couple of sturgeon which come out quite regularly.

20 pegs. Book the pool for the day £100 for all of the pool or 1/2 the pool £60 run your own competion.

Specimen Pool

Coarse Fishing / River Fishing

A 1 acre Specimen pool stocked with 20 mirrors and common ranging from 15 to 20lb and a few growing on around 10lb. Plus a couple of sturgeon. Ideal for the more experienced angler. £15.00 day or £30.00 for 24hrs. Hire the whole pool for 24hrs £100.00

Kids and Novice Pool

A 3/4 acre kids and novices pool, very well stocked with 100's of commons mirrors and a few trout, if you catch one and want it for the barbie it's £10 (almost bound to catch)!!! this pool is a good spot for beginners and juniors alike £10.00 day; tuition £15hr is available on site subject to availability and if booked in advance.
